L6 offers full of Yamaha’s exclusivities. The solid Engelmann Spruce top is treated with A.R.E.. Together with modified bracing design, the sound has become more powerful and loud still maintaining excellent balance. To fit to comtemporary player’s needs, L6 is equipped wth Zero-Impact Pickup to be ready for performance or recording at anytime without sacrificing its traditional look or full acoustic resonance. Features A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) is an original wood reforming technology developed by Yamaha. Through precise controll of temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, the molecular properties of the wood can be manipulated into a more acoustically ideal condition, similar to the molecular characteristics of woods in instruments that have been played for years. New Designed Bracing Pattern A modified non-scalloped bracing design retains the L series’ characteristic bright tone while enhancing low-end tone. High Comfortable Traditional Neck Profile A reevaluation of string spacing, string height, fingerboard binding, and neck taper led to a new neck shape that better fits today’s traditional players. The new design offers stable grip and smooth playability over the full length of the neck. 5-Ply Necks New 5-ply neck designs are constructed of rosewood and mahogany plies. The design integrates the neck, head, and body into a single unit creating a powerful, rich sound. This approach also creates a strong, stable neck that resists twisting and warping. The Rumble LT25 is a 25-watt combo amplifier with 15 amp types including models of Fender classics, other modern bass amps and preamps. It has a standard EQ just like any bass amp, with bass, middle and treble controls alongside gain and master knobs. There are 50 presets, 30 of which are built-in and 20 of which are an ‘easter egg’ built into the menu system. You have your choice of amps; 20 different effects divided into Stomp, Mod, EQ and Delay categories; and tap tempo for setting the pace of time-based effects. The effects include distortion, overdrive, compression, EQ, touch wah, modulation, reverb, delay and octave variations. A 1.8-inch colour display and an encoder knob give you access to various levels of editing control, and it doubles as a tuner display too. There’s a footswitch jack for recalling your favourite presets, and it’s constructed using a solid wood cabinet – no plywood here – for really robust sound projection and frequency response.

This is the standard model of the SG1820 series and the guitar all of the new SGs are based on. Its spec and appearance are based on feedback from the artists who were involved in its development in Tokyo, London and YASH in Hollywood. SG1820s are all handmade at YMC in Japan and feature the custom-shop parts relied on by professionals for tour-ready tone, feel and reliability. While preserving the basic structure of Maple Top/Mahogany Back and SG’s iconic double cutaway design, the body of SG1820 was redesigned to capture the sound and look which today’s guitarists want. The contoured body top curves more deeply than previous models – the top arc of the curve, the center part of the body, has optimized wood-mass to maximise string-body vibration from the from the bridge and tailpiece. The deep curve maintains the guitar’s optimum weight balance and enhances the SG’s stunning shape. The back contour featured on SG1/2/300, designed for increased comfort when the guitar was played high on the strap, has been modified to a flat back on the new SGs. The new flat back design increases the volume of Mahogany to significantly increase the low-mid response and presence while reflecting ergonomics needed for the lower stance modern players take with SGs.
